Leela Jaipal

Leela Jaipal,63 of Schenectady passed a away on Saturday June 9th at Ellis Hospital. Formerly of the Bronx, Leela was born in Guyana and was the daughter of the late Beepatt and Rangama (Govenden) Algoo. A former daycare worker at Family Daycare in the Bronx, Leela was a devoted wife ,mother, grandmother and sister. She is survived by her husband Hipraj Jaipal, her son Ramchand Jaipal and his wife ( Roma) of Schenectady, grandchildren,Ryan and Tanusha Jaipal and her brother's ,Vivaykanand and Vishnudat Algoo both of the Bronx. A visitation will be held on Monday evening from 5 to 9 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. The service will follow on Tuesday morning at 9 am at the funeral home. Cremation will be held at Park View Crematory in Schenectady.
