Lawrence F. Di Fabbio ,71, of Schenectady died early Saturday morning March 8, 2008 at Mt. Loretto Nursing Home in Amsterdam. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Joseph F. and Mary (Gallucci) Di Fabbio. A graduate of Draper High School, Larry served as a Radioman in the US Navy Airborne Division Early Warning Wing. He worked as a mason and tile setter and was a licensed taxi driver in New York City and Los Angeles. Larry was a man of many talents-- painting, sculpting in wood and creating artistic furniture. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed billiards. He is survived by his sisters, Deanna (Edward) Capovani of Glenville, Camille (Daniel) Brady of Georgetown, MA., and Louise Di Fabbio of Schenectady, 10 nieces, nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews. A memorial mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Luke's Church State Street Schenectady on Friday morning March 14, 2008 at 9 AM. Interment with military honors will be held in Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady, P.O.
