Laverne (Bud) C. Tracy 80 of Rotterdam died Monday afternoon at Ellis Hospital after a short illness. Born in Amsterdam, Bud was the son of the late Roy and Hazel Tracy and a graduate of Amsterdam High School. A route man for Freihofer Baking Co. for over 12 years, he retired in 1986. Bud had also worked for Spalding Bakery for over 20 years. Laverne was predeceased in 1997 by his wife of 43 years Thelma (Trevett) Tracy and his son Timothy in 2004. Survivors include his daughter Sheila A. Mullarkey of Burnt Hills and daughter-in-law Ann Tracy of Schenectady, four grandchildren, Scott Mullarkey of Burnt Hills, Melissa Antonini (Rob) of Schenectady, Jamie Tracy of Schenectady and Michelle Evans(Chris) of Rotterdam, 3 great grandchildren, Isabella and Nico Antonini and Gabriel Evans and a dear friend and neighbor, Frank McGinty of Rotterdam. Funeral services will be held private at the convenience of the family. Calling Hours will be held at the Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, Thursday evening September 22, 2005 from 5 to 8 pm.
