Ladi V. (Ceremuga) Masur 94, of Glenville passed away on Wednesday evening April 26th at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY. Born on June 6, 1922 in Halfmoon , NY, Ladi was the daughter of the late Tadeaus and Ann (Bojec) Ceremuga. Her love of music, devotion to family and care of the elderly and those with developmental delays were central to her life. Ladi was a choir member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Glenville. She was also a member of the Schenectady Light Opera and a violinist with the Schenectady Symphony Orchestra for 20 years. Ladi taught music in the Colonie Central School District. She also worked with special needs individuals at OD Heck and Pine Ridge Industries. Ladi earned "The Caregiver of the Year" award from the NYS Association of Health Care Providers while working with Gentle Home Health Care. Ladi was also an award-winning agent with Purdy Realty. Ladi loved gardening, puzzles and Scrabble. Predeceased in 1976 by her husband, Norman Masur, Ladi is survived by her daughters: Joyce Buell of Chicago, IL, Janet Masur-Perry (David) of Liverpool, NY and Judith Fabiano (Francis) of Milford, NY; her grandchildren: Donald Buell, Dr. Margaret Buell, Sean Perry, Currey Fabiano (Nicole) and Kyle Fabiano and her great granddaughter Elliana Fabiano. A Celebration of Ladi's life will be on Thursday June 8, 2017 at 2PM at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. A Visitation will be from 1-2PM prior to the service. Interment will be next to her husband Norman in Viewland Cemetery in Rotterdam, NY.
