Kimball H. Andreine 85 of Chevy Chase, MD and formerly of Schenectady died Tuesday September 19, 2006 at Community Hospice of Washington after a short illness. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Crescentino and Anna Goodfellow Furness Andreine. A World War II Army veteran, Kimball worked for Tenney & Tenney Oil Company for over 40 years before retiring as the manager. A devoted grandfather he was a lover of the outdoors, he enjoyed his camp in Speculator, NY and the Adirondack's. Kimball was predeceased in 1994 by his wife 52 years Vernas (Simmons) Andreine and a brother Fred Furness. Survivors include his children, Alton K. Andreine and wife Colleen of Chevy Chase, MD and James A. Andreine and wife Linda of Schenectady, two sisters, Geraldine Belissario of Mechanicville, NY and Rita Gignac of Schenectady, five grandchildren , five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning September 23, 2006 at 8:15 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY followed at 9 am at St. Paul the Apostle church, Albany Street, Schenectady where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Contributions may be made in his memory to Community Hospice of Washington, 3720 Upton Street NW, Washington, DC 20016
