Kevin D. Nealon, 30, of Schenectady and Dallas, TX passed away Tuesday July 12, 2011 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Worcester, MA. he was the son of John "Jack" Nealon (Diane) of Dallas, TX and Mary (Donahoe) Lytle (Stewart) of Newbury Port, MA. Kevin was a kind man with a big heart and an easy smile. He loved learning and sharing that new found knowledge with others. He attended Union College and the University of Georgia. He loved his country deeply. He had an incredible sense of humor, and loved to bring a smile to others. Kevin served in the US Army. He was self employed as a web designer.He is predeceased by his paternal grandfather Jack Nealon Sr., his grandmother Lois Taylor Knuths, his maternal grandparents Bernice and Kevin Donahoe and his Godfather Leo Donohoe. Besides his parents, Kevin is survived by his paternal grandmother Anna M. Nealon of Scotia, his grandfather Michael S. Knuths of Dallas, TX, one brother John Nealon III and his wife Sophie of Stamford, CT, three sisters Kara A. Nealon of Prescott, AZ, Sarah C. Nealon of Fitchburg, MA and Grace E. C. Nealon of Dallas, TX, his aunts Marianne Durkan (John) of Hood River, Oregon Jean Nealon of Schenectady, Patricia Lamanna ( William) of Glenville, Kate McDaniel ( John) of Franklin, MA., Theresa Spaulding ( David) of Newburyport, MA, Jennifer Truesdale (Bruce) of Byfield, MA and Deidre Mannix (Lawrence) of Wilton, CT Sharon Egger (Randy) of Dallas, TX, Susan Bonner (Henry) of Westport CT, his uncles Michael Nealon (Jacqueline) of Schenectady and Mark Nealon (Gia) of Glenville, his godmother Jeanette Donohoe of Ireland as well as 32 loving first cousins, one niece and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be Saturday 8:15AM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9AM at St. Helens Church 1803 Union Street in Schenectady. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be Friday 2-4 and 6-9PM at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna.
