Kenneth Leamon Flint 93 of Schenectady died Tuesday February 8, 2005 at St. Clares Hospital. Born in Esperance, N.Y., Ken was the son of the late Adalbert and Katherine (Leamon) Flint. He attended school in South Valley and later attended Coyne Electrical School in Chicago. Ken was the former owner operator of Flint Telephone Lines in South Valley, later working for Otsego and Delaware Telephone Company. He had also work for the Civilian Conservation Corps (Gilbert Lake Company 212) and was an electrician for the General Electric Company for 38 years before retiring in 1976. Ken was also a private electrical contractor for over 60 years. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of Noah Lodge # 0754 in Altamont, the Helderberg Reformed Church, Guilderland Center Bowling league, the Young at Heart Senior Citizens and the Cypress Shrine. Kenneth was predeceased in 1967 by his 1st wife of 26 years Ethel Mae Quire Flint and in 1998 by his 2nd wife of 29 years Olga Skokan Barber Flint. Survivors include his sister-in-law Helen Quiri Lange and his nieces and nephews; Linda Carman, Dolores Aldrich, Elaine Richards, Lois Davis, Judith Weiner, George Skokan, David Skokan, Karl Skokan and Karen Saunders, and his cousins; Bernice Brown, John Hufnail and Linda Hufnail Whitman. Funeral Services will be held Sunday afternoon February 13, 2005 at 3 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, N.Y. with calling hours being held at the funeral home from 1 to 3 pm prior to the funeral service. Spring internment will be in Sloansville Valley Cemetery.
