Kay Spencer

Kay C. Spencer, 59, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 21, 2020.

Born in Constableville, NY, Kay was the daughter of the late Myron and Mae (Damuth) Buck. A graduate of Fort Plain High School, Kay attended Fulton Montgomery Community College.

Kay loved spending time on the farm. Growing up she would fish on her dad’s pond, ride horses bareback, and pick wild strawberries. As an adult, she loved cooking for her family and friends, and was known for turning a house into a welcoming home.

A wonderful mother, Kay is survived by her beloved children, Laura V. Lourenco (Daniel) of Norwood, MA, Kristina L. Vecchio (Benjamin Hovey) of Schenectady and Brian A. Vecchio (Kathryn Reynders) of Altamont, her siblings Rose Buck of Canajoharie, Alan Buck and wife Kathy of Fonda, Anita Cirtwell and her husband (Richard) of Sprakers, Cathleen Cables of Mohawk, and Gerry King of Sprakers, as well as 3 grand dogs, 2 grand cats and many nieces and nephews.

Kay wishes to spend eternity at the ocean, so her ashes will be spread during a private ceremony at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 421 New Karner Rd, Albany, NY 12205 in Kay’s memory.
