Katherine L Yahn

Katherine L. Yahn, 90, of Schenectady died Friday September 5, 2008 at the Glendale Home. Born in Schenectady she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Lena (Redmond) Penistan. Katherine was a homemaker. She was a member of the Second Reformed Church in Rotterdam. Katherine enjoyed Oil Painting, Gardening, Cooking, Animals and the Adirondack Mountains. She is predeceased by her husband Ellis Yahn. Katherine is survived by two sons Richard Frederick (Susan) of Ballston Spa and Robert Frederick of Corinth, NY, also survived by one Grandchild Robert D. Frederick (Noele) and two Great Grandchildren Joseph Daniel Frederick and Julia Frederick. Funeral Services will be Wednesday 11AM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Calling Hour will be Wednesday 10-11AM prior to the service at the funeral home. Internment will be in Schenectady Memorial Park in Rotterdam.
