Katherine I. Quay - Schenectady Katherine I. Quay, 90, of Campbell Avenue, died Monday morning August 16, at Ellis Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility after a long illness. Born and educated in Schenectady, Katherine was the daughter of the late Raymond and Irene (Shane) Wilkie. A homemaker, Katherine was the wife of the late Harold L. Quay who died October 24, 1992. Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie L. Tessitore and her husband Ralph of Rotterdam and Joan K. Spaas and her husband John of Rotterdam, 4 grandchildren, Lisa Lyons of Schenectady, Deborah Spass of Schenectady, John Michael Spaas of Schenectady and Paul Spass of Chicago; 3 great grandchildren, Michael John Lyons, Jr., Jordan Lyons and Madison Spass and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 18th, 12 Noon at the Bond Funeral Home, Broadway and Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady. Calling hours will be held at the Funeral Home from 10 to 12 prior to the funeral service. Interment Knox Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Katherine's memory to the Ellis Skilled Nursing Facility - Activity Department, care of Ellis Hospiatal 1101 Nott Street, Schenectady, 12308 or to a charity of one's choice.
