Joyce Desarbo (Kriss)

Joyce DeSarbo, 74, of Mariaville, passed away at home on Thursday September 22, 2016. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Martha (Sandlewski) Kriss. She was employed as a school bus driver for the Mohonasen School District. Joyce was a proud parent of her only child Jeffrey becoming a doctor and of her grandchildren whom she constantly talked about and shared photos. She was an avid lover of dogs and loved her latest dog Jade. Joyce is survived by her loving son Dr. Jeffrey R. DeSarbo (Joanne) of Oyster Bay, NY, her loving companion Leon Merrill of Mariaville, her loving brother Allen Kriss (Lynn) of Rotterdam and also survived by her two loving grandchildren Lyndsey and Lukas. Funeral Services for Joyce will be Sunday at 2PM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Calling hours will be Sunday 12-2PM at the funeral home.
