Joyce M. Bourdreau

Joyce M. Bourdreau, 83, of Schenectady passed away at the Grand Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Guilderland on Friday March 1, 2024. Born in Canastota, NY, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Esther (Clark) Bourdreau..

She was employed for many years for New York State in maintenance and later grading state exams.

Joyce was passionate about all things Amish, yard sales, the casino, and people in general. She loved bacon, cheesecake, strawberries and loved to cook.

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her daughter Deborah Lou Wild.

Joyce is survived by her daughter Tanya Lee Hoyt, her sister Donna Bourdreau as well as her grandchildren Travis Anthony Hoyt, Brenda Hart and Loretta West as well as several cousins.

Funeral Services for Joyce will be on Wednesday evening at 7PM at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. A Visitation will be from 6-7PM prior.

Interment will be on Thursday at 11AM at Lenox Rural Cemetery in Canastota, NY.
