Josephine A Horn

Josephine A. Horn 66 of Schenectady died Friday morning May 9th at her home after a short illness. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Frank Santillo and Grace (Morrette) and William Houck. A graduate of Schalmont High School, Josephine was a machine operator at Campbell Plastics for over 26 years before retiring in 1998.An avid bowler, she was a former member of the Atomic Bowling League, loved Elvis Presley and enjoyed going to the casinos. Josephine is survived by her husband of 27 years, James L. Horn Sr. and her children, Daniel O'Connell (Becky) of Auburn, NY, Patty Conte of Troy, Christine Brown (Howard "Rippy" ) of Rotterdam and Matthew Baim of Sloansville, three brothers, Frank Santillo Hartford, Ct, Thomas Houck (Diane) and Jack Houck (Gail) both of Rotterdam and sisters, Virginia Attanasio (Gil Lawyer) of Ballston Lake and Pauline France (Jim) of Guilderland , 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning May 14, 2008 at 10am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 pm. Interment in Schenectady Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 85 Watervliet Ave., Albany, NY 12206.
