Joseph Graham

Joseph Alphonso Graham - dedicated husband, father, brother, grandfather, friend, and community member - passed away in his Glenville home surrounded by family on December 6th, 2022.

Joseph was born to Amos and Arlene Graham in Queens, NY on June 22nd, 1950. He was a 1969 graduate of Fort Hamilton HS and a 1976 graduate of SUNY Albany. He spent his working years at GE and NYS OCFS while also co-initiating the Jerry Burrell Basketball League and Culturefest series. In 2019, Joseph retired and spent his time with loved ones.

Joseph was predeceased by Amos Graham and Arlene Graham. He is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Natalie (Phillip), Joseph and Daniel; granddaughter Jayda; brothers, Kenneth, Dennis and Conrad; sisters, Phyllis, Darlene, Robin, Paula and Pamela (Dexter); brothers-in-law, Eric and Andrew; sisters-in-law, Genevieve (Robert) and Rita (Tyrone); and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

Funeral Services for Joseph will be on Saturday December 10, 2022 at 12 noon at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Visitation will be from 10-12 prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Glenville.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made by mail or PayPal to the Hamilton Hill Arts Center, an organization Joseph felt strongly about.
