Joseph J Delorenzo

Joseph J. DeLorenzo Sr., 96, of Hamburg Street Rotterdam died Tuesday July 10, 2007 at the Dutch Manor Nursing Home in Rotterdam after a long illness. Born in Italy, he was the son of the late James and Antoinette (Viscusi) DeLorenzo. Joseph was the owner of DeLorenzo's Steak House in Schenectady, retiring in 1977. He is predeceased by one son Robert J. DeLorenzo, three brothers Ralph DeLorenzo, Patsy DeLorenzo and Frank DeLorenzo, three sisters Clem DeLorenzo, Jenny Audi and Rose Saccocio. Joseph is survived by his wife June Santora DeLorenzo whom he married April 2, 1941, one daughter Gene A. Ransom of Schenectady, one son Joseph J. DeLorenzo of Scotia, also survived by 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 11:30AM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenctady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There will be no calling hours by request. Internment will be in Viewland Cemetery in Rotterdam.
