Joseph J Bonk

Joseph J. Bonk 94 of Cape Coral, FL died Thursday January 22, 2009 in Cape Coral after a long illness. Born in Rotterdam, NY, Joseph was the son of the late Joseph and Ida Bonk and a graduate of draper High school. An Army veteran of WWII, Joseph was a manager in audit and control for New York State for over 34 years. He was a member of Brier Creek and Whispering Pines Golf Courses. Joseph was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth B Bonk and his son Joseph J. Bonk and sister Ida LaGrange. He is survived by his daughter-in-law Barbara M.R. Bonk of Cape Coral, FL., brothers, Robert Bonk of Atlanta , GA, Casper Bonk of Rotterdam and Larry Bonk of Guilderland,sister Viola Gugliuzza of Glenville, grandchildren, Patricia Pierson, Kathleen Bonk, Kristina Olsen, Robert DeLorm, Thomas Gaida and Deborah Ostrowski, 2 great grandsons, Baron and Vince and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 28, 2009 at 10am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. A calling hour will be held at the funeral home from 9 to 10 am prior to the service. Interment in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
