Joseph E Boguzski

Joseph E. Boguzski, 62, of Kirvin Lane, Rotterdam died Sunday June 25, 2006 after a brave battle with Lung Cancer. Joseph was born in the Bronx, NY and was the son of the late Edward and Madge ( Soblosky) Boguzski. He was a graduate of the Albany Business College. He was employed as an Accountant in the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles until he retired in 2002. Joseph was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Rotterdam. He was a member of the Rotterdam Elks and its Bocce League and the Menagerie Bowling League. Joseph was an avid NY Yankees Fan and NY Giants Fan. He loved Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Joseph was a wonderful person and enjoyed his family and friends. He is predeceased by one sister Barbara Meca. Joseph is survived by his devoted wife and best friend Pat Meagher-Matt whom he married May 20, 1990, two daughters Mary Louise Cebula of Mechanicville and Tammy Matt of Clifton Park, two brothers Edward Soblosky of Rotterdam and Edju Boguzski of Amsterdam, also survived by two Grandchildren Zachary Montanaro and Jenna Cebula as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Wednesday 8:15AM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady followed by a Mass at 9AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Church Princetown Road in Rotterdam. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be Tuesday evening 4-8PM at the Funeral Home. Inurnment will be St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Amsterdam.
