John D Pappas

John D. Pappas, 60, of Schenectady, passed away suddenly, on Friday December 23, 2016 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Mansfield, MA. Born in Greece, he was the son of the late John and Alice (Manikas) Pappas. John was employed for Diam Trucking as a truck driver. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His family was everything to him. John enjoyed motorcycles. He was also passionate about his car. John is survived by his loving wife Denise M. (Petrie) Pappas, his four loving children Tonya Mastroianni of Scotia, Patience Fikert (Randy) of Rotterdam, John Pappas (Shannon) of Mechanicville and Anthony Pappas (Arwen) of Rotterdam, also survived by 10 loving grandchildren Nicholas J. Mastroianni, Frankie R. Mastroianni, Justina Fikert, Sunshine Fikert, Lucas Leach, Liam Fikert, Alexander Pappas, John Pappas, Anastacia Pappas and Alayla Pappas. A Celebration of John's life will be held on friday evening December 30th at 8 pm Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6 to 8 pm prior to the celebration.
