John Latkowski

John J. Latkowski, 80, of St. Jude Drive, Rotterdam died Friday January 12, 2007 at St. Clares Hospital. John was born in Schenectady and was the son of the late John and Josephine (Forman) Latkowski. He was a graduate in Criminal Justice from Schenectady Community College and attended New York University.John served in the US Navy in WW2 and the Korean Conflict. He was employed as a Correction Officer for NYS at the Coxsachie Correctional Facility. John was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Schenectady. He is predeceased by two children-Jeffrey B. Latkowski and Janice A. Segatto. John is survived by his wife Anna Marie Ruzzo Latkowski whom he married February 12, 1956, two children John A. Latkowski of Schenectady and Judith M. Bootier (Robert) of Colonie, one brother Cas Latkowski of Largo, Florida, one sister Maryann Laing of Gansevoort, also survived by 6 Grandchildren- Michael Segatto, Linda Segatto, John Latkowski, Sara Latkowski, Amy Bootier and Kelly Bootier and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday morning 8:15AM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady followed by a Mass at 9AM at St. Paul the Apostle Church 2777 Albany Street Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be Monday evening 5-7PM at the funeral Home. Internment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna
