John "Jack" Joslin Jr. 63, Passed away Tuesday morning February 23rd at his home in Rotterdam. Born and educated in Lansingburgh, Jack was the son of Ahlene (Morris) Smith of Tarentum, PA and the late John J. Joslin Sr. A Navy veteran, Jack honorably served from June 3, 1971 to February 18, 1975. A machinist by trade, he worked at the Watervliet Arsenal retiring as a supervisor. A workaholic, Jack was always busy. He was a very active member of Maranatha Ministries, a Hamm Radio Operator, enjoyed fishing and was a coin collector. Beside his mother, Jack is survived by his wife of 33 years Paula A. (Fiorillo) Joslin, his 4 children; Julianne Catlin (Clay) of Malta, Jared T. Joslin of Rotterdam, Jessica L. Joslin (Jay) of Esperance and Jennifer A. Moyston (Akili) of Aurora ,CO, grandchildren; Jordan, Garret, Aislynn and Hope, brothers Shawn Smith of Rural Valley PA and Wayne Smith of Tarentum, PA, sisters; Diana Smith and Andrea Garrett both of Tarentum, PA as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 27th at 10am at Maranatha Ministries, 522 Bradt Street, Schenectady, NY 12306. A visitation will be held at the church on Friday evening from 5 to 8 pm. Interment will be in Memory's Garden in Colonie, NY.
