Joanelle Terry's soul was set free at her home on Monday, February 6, 2023. She was 43 years old. Born in Albany, Joanelle was the daughter of Leslie Amanda Kenny, and William Terry Sr. At a young age Joanelle moved to Schenectady and attended school there. Joanelle traveled the world bringing joy to all who knew her with her unique style and passion for fashion. Joanelle is survived by her beloved children Neajee, Jalen, Carl, Gregory, and Myla, her grandson, Naim "Nugget" Terry, her soulmate and life partner Sleep aka Jim, five sisters, Jasonna, Eliza, Tanika, Kesha (bff), her darling Amanda, one brother, William Jr, her aunt Joan Mannix(née Kenny), 21 nieces and nephews, three cousins on her mother's side, too many cousins to count on her father side and countless friends and loved ones. Her beloved mother Leslie Amanda Kenny was there to welcome her home as she ascended. She will be remembered fondly and forever missed by everyone whose lives she touched. A visitation to celebrate the life she lived to the fullest will be held February 15 from 2 to 4 PM at Bond funeral home in Schenectady with a private celebration to follow.
