Joan Adach (Rogozinski)

Joan Adach (nee Rogozinski), age 82, passed away March 7th, 2020
after a long battle with cancer. Joan lived in Modena, New York.

Joan was born in Schenectady, New York in 1937 to Leo and Anna
Rogozinski. She attended Mont Pleasant High School and went on to
receive a degree from Albany Business College.

Joan married Walter Adach in 1958 and they had two sons; Kenn and Brian.
Joan was a very devoted wife and mother. She always had a positive
attitude, lent support and encouragement to whomever needed it and
was kind to everyone. She worked periodically between raising her
children, but her love was her family and home. Joan had an interesting
life experience when her husband took an international job assignment
which brought them to Seoul, South Korea for a couple years back in
the eighties.

Joan is predeceased by her husband Walter and her parents. Joan is
survived by her sons and their families; her son Kenn and wife Patty of
Redding, Connecticut; and her son Brian and wife Allison DuBois-Adach,
two loving grandchildren whose smiles lit her spirit each and every day,
Alexa and Lucas of Modena, New York. She is also survived by her
brother Leo Rogozinski, formerly of Schenectady and now living in
Valatia, New York and his extended family.

Our mother and grandmother will be missed deeply, all the days of our life.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday March 11, 2020 at 11AM at St. Adalbert’s
550 Lansing Street in Schenectady. Visitation will be Wednesday 9:30-10:30AM at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady.

Interment in St. Adalbert's Cemetery in Rotterdam

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to Rosary Hill in memory of Joan and Walter Adach at Rosary Hill Home, 600 Linda Avenue, Hawthorne, NY 10532 .
