Joan Fournier (Faboskay)

Joan Fournier, 71 years of age, passed away on January 4, 2021, in North Fort Meyers, Florida after a short illness.

Joan was born in Schenectady, NY on May 8, 1949, the daughter of Raymond and Genevieve Faboskay, and one of three siblings. Joan resided most of her life in Schenectady until recently relocating to North Fort Meyers, Florida.

Joan graduated from Draper High School in 1963, and later in life obtained her Associates Degree in Accounting. She worked in the Tax and Pension departments for BST & Co., CPAs for over 20 years until retiring in 2020.

Joan loved to spend time with family, and could always be counted on to provide a laugh at family gatherings. Time spent with her kids and grandkids was precious to her. She loved to play boardgames, was an avid reader, and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. Joan also loved to spend time cruising, taking 75 cruises in her lifetime.

Joan is survived by her two sons Vito (Gloria) Polsinelli and Louis (Amy) Polsinelli , brother Alan Faboskay, sister Margaret Gerasia, grandchildren Anisha Delan, Anthony Polsinelli, Dominic Polsinelli, and Joseph Polsinelli, and two great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held for Joan on Saturday January 23 at Bonds Funeral Home, 1614 Guilderland Ave., Schenectady NY 12306, from 10am to 11am, followed by a graveside service immediately following at Schenectady Memorial Park, 556 Giffords Church Rd.
