Jennifer L ( Smith) Hoch

Jennifer L. Smith passed away suddenly at home in Schenectady on February 4, 2022 after a short illness. Even though she has been taken from this world, she left a beacon of light in her five surviving children. Jennifer was mother of triplets Steven, Emma (deceased) and Caiden Koczak, and Paige, Abigail, and Nicholas Hoch.

Jennifer is also survived by her mother, Patricia (Steele) Conroy and stepfather Joseph B. Conroy; her father, Willard J. Smith; brothers Jonathan, Joe Conroy, and Brett Kennedy, and sister Madeline Kennedy.

She attended Cornell University for animal husbandry and then settled down to raise her children in Schenectady. Jennifer will be dearly missed

After the short service, please join us at the Verdoy Fire Department Upstairs Community Room (988 Troy Schenectady Rd, Latham, NY 12110) for a light Italian-style lunch and getting to know the children. Interment will be held at the Atwater Cemetery, Route 41, Homer New York, with the date to be determined.
