Jeannette C Urbanczyk (Cotter)

Jeannette C. Urbanczyk 98, passed away Monday February 13,2017 at Ellis Skilled Nursing, in Schenectady. Born and educated in Albany, Jeannette was the daughter of the late Horace and Josephine (Menard) Cotter and a graduate of Albany High School. A former employee of Central Market, Jeannette worked for the Schenectady County Public Library on the bookmobile for many years before retiring. A member of Our lady Queen of Peace, Jeannette was an avid golfer and enjoyed her garden, knitting, crochet, reading and spending her time with family at their camp on Sacandaga Lake. Predeceased in 2002 by her husband of 61 years Chester A. Urbanczyk, Jeannette is survived by her children; James F. Urbanczyk (Cari) of Ballston Spa, Joseph C. Urbanczyk (Marilee) of Averill Park, Carol A. Grabo (James) and Patricia J. Lair both of Scotia, her 7 grandchildren; Michael Grabo (Nikki), Debbi Grabo, Jason Lair(Danielle), Jodi Lair, Elizabeth Urbanczyk, Tori Urbanczyk and Ian Hamelin,and her 3 great grandchildren; Jacob Chase, Cooper Lair and Taylor Grabo. Funeral services will be held on Friday morning February17th at 8:45 am at at Bond Funeral Home , Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY followed at 9:30 am at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 210 Princetown Rd., Schenectady, NY where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 4 to 7 pm. Entombment in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
