Jeanne Connie Memmerth (Carr)

February 17, 1927 — October 2, 2016

Jeanne Connie Memmerth, 89, formerly of Delanson passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday October 2, 2016 at the Glendale Home. Born in Oneonta, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Genevieve (Hollister) Carr. Connie was a graduate of Sharon High School, in Charlotte, NC. She lived in Albany, NY from 1946-1963. Connie was employed from 1974-1989 as a secretary and hostess at the Hotel Van Dyck in Schenectady. She was a member of Christ Church Episcopal in Duanesburg. Connie was a former member of the church vestry. She also served for 12 years as the church treasurer. Connie is predeceased by her husband Charles H. Memmerth whom she married May 25, 1946. She is survived by her two loving daughters Holli Thompson of Delanson and Jennifer Lyons (Sean) of Berne as well as one loving grandson Matthew Thompson of Delanson. Funeral Services will be Wednesday October 5, 2016 at 10AM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5-7PM at the funeral home. Internment will be on Wednesday at 1PM at the Milford Center Cemetery. Contributions can be made in her memory to the Veteran's Miracle Center 10 Interstate Avenue Albany, NY 12205.
