Jeanette E O'Connell

Jeanette E. O'Connell 91 of Schenectady died Sunday morning September 10, 2006 at St Clare's Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Schenectady she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Brzozowski. Jeanette was employed by the Community State Bank in Schenectady. After retirement Jeanette enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A member of St John the Evangelist Church, she was an avid traveler, sewer, baker and veracious reader. Jeanette was predeceased in 1990 by her husband Harold J. O'Connell. She is survived by her children; George (Marilyn) O'Connell of Guilderland and Irene (Guy) Liberatore of Niskayuna, her grandchildren; Christine (Robert) Bartfai of Tucson, AZ., Karen (Robert) Bradley of Glenville, Carol (Nicholas) Avossa of Kingston,NY, Eileen (Michael) Underkoffler of Raleigh, NC, Dr Gregg Liberatore (Debra Liberatore) of Clifton Park, Kathleen (Charles) Whittaker of Winthrop, MA, her great grandchildren; Rebecca, Matthew, Zachary, and Sara Bartfai, Katie and Christopher Bradley, Nicholas and Ian Avossa, Elizabeth and Jonathan Underkoffler, Gianna Liberatore, Colleen and Raymond Whittaker. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning September 13, 2006 at 10:15 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, followed at 11 am at St John the Evangelist Church, Union Street, Schenectady where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.
