Jean H Coward (Hallenbeck)

Jean H. Coward, 98 passed away early Wednesday evening July 5th at her home with her son at her side. Born and educated in Ravena, NY, Jean was the daughter of the late Clarence and Bertha (Langworthy) Hallenbeck. A graduate of Ravena High School , Jean attended Alfred University and later graduated from Mildred Elley Business School. A former member of Broadway UMC, Jean had a love for traveling, the theater , reading and singing. Jean was also a member several choral groups including the Schenectady Melodears. Predeceased in 1981 by her husband Robert L. Coward, Jean is survived by her children; Christopher J. Coward of Deland, Fl., Paul R. Coward (Bonificia) of Lake George and Steven J. Coward (Sindy) of Rogers, Ak, 4 grandchildren 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Jean's life will be held on Saturday, October 14th at 11 am at Bond Funeral Home; Broadway at Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10-11 am, prior to Jean's celebration of life. Interment will be in Memory Gardens.
