Jean Crary

Jean Crary 84 of Rotterdam died Saturday Afternoon December 24, 2005 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Todmorden, England, she was a 1939 graduate of Draper Schools and the daughter of the late John P. and Jane (Stott) Barker. Jean worked for the Mohonasen School district for over 20 years before retiring in 1982 as secretary for the board of education and the superintendent of schools. Jean was also a former member of Broadway United Methodist Church. Jean was predeceased in 2003 by her husband for 58 years Marshall Crary who she married December 24, 1945. Survivors include two son Mark Crary and wife Gwenith of Duanesburg and Bruce Crary and wife Joyce of Newbury Port, MA. three grandchildren, Scott Crary and wife Kelly, Dawn Crary and Samuel Crary. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning December 28, 2005 at 10 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY with a calling hour being held at the funeral home from 9 to 10am prior to the service. Interment in Schenectady Memorial Park. In lieu of Flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association, 7 Washington Square, Albany, NY 12205.
