James W Whiting

James W. Whiting 66 of Rotterdam died Saturday afternoon November 12, 2005 at Ellis Hospital after a long illness. Born in Albany, James was the son of the late Raymond and Frances Whiting. A graduate of Bethlehem High School, he attended Siena College. James was a Junior Chamber of Commerce Road Race Winner, President of Concerned Friends of Hope House, a numerous award winner and member of the Albany Camera Club a private business owner, an avid photographer, fisherman and hiker who loved the Adirondacks. James is survived by his wife of 24 years Roberta (Taber) Whiting, six children; James M. Whiting of Albany, Christina Crowley of Colonie, Justin M. Whiting and Teresa Whiting both of California and Jason T. and Jonathan S. Whiting both of Rotterdam, six grandchildren and a great grandchild. Funeral services will be held private at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to a charity of choice in his memory.
