James Turk

James Walter Turk, 91, of Rotterdam passed away at Ellis Hospital on Monday August 1, 2022. He was born in Ilion, NY and was the son of the late J. Raymond and Emma Bell (Brown) Turk.

He served his country in the Army. James was later employed as contract designer for Allstate Design, retiring in 1999.

James was a member of the Cobleskill Country Club.

He is predeceased by his sister Nancy Dugan (Late Sherwood) and a niece Lisa Dugan.
James is survived by his nephew Robert Dugan (Eva) of Rotterdam.

A Graveside ceremony with military honors will be on Tuesday August 9, 2022 at 1PM at the Saratoga National Cemetery 200 Duell Road Schuylerville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in James’s memory to the American Heart Association 4 Atrium Dr. #100 Albany, NY 12205.

Arrangements are by the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady.
