James H. Thron

James H. Thron, 60, of Scotia passed away at home on Wednesday March 26, 2025. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Henry and Thelma (Maloney) Thron.

He was self-employed operating Thron’s Tree Service.

James is survived by his daughter Ashley Thron, his stepchildren Nicole Fatato (Andrew) and Michael Martineau (Jen), his sisters Laura Hugget (Tim), Nancy Sniffen and Kathy Thron. He is also survived by his grandchildren Anthony and Adriana Fatato as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of James life will be on Saturday April 5, 2025 at 2PM at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Visitation will be from 1-2 prior to the service.
