James D. Reynolds

James Reynolds passed away suddenly on Thursday May 2, 2024, at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Donald and Rose (Meehan) Reynolds.

He was employed for the Golub Corporation in Rotterdam.

James loved spending time with and making the greatest memories with his grandchildren. He was the best Papa and also the greatest dad to Kevin, Tim and Valerie.

He is predeceased by one brother Michael Reynolds.

James is survived by the love of his life Teresa, his children Kevin Chapman (Stephanie), Tim Chapman (Susan) and Valerie Chapman (David), his siblings Patricia Jeffords (Bill), Daniel Reynolds (Pat), Timothy Reynolds, Rosemary Reynolds (Erv), Mary Margaret Reynolds, and Jospeh Reynolds (Clara). He is also survived by his loving grandchildren- Christopher Chapman, Ari Carter, Dylan Chapman, Kierra Chapman, Tegan Chapman, Javin Asencio and Austin Chapman as well as one great grandchild Jackson Chapman and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Monday evening at Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady from 5-7PM. Funeral Services for James will begin Tuesday at 9:15AM at the funeral home followed by a Mass at 10AM at St Gabriel’s Church 3040 Hamburg Street Rotterdam.

Burial will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna.
