James L Nelson

James L. Nelson, 87, of Scotia passed away on Thursday November 13, 2014 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in West Charlton he was the son of the late Lewis and Cora (Murtlow) Nelson. James operated a farm in West Charlton for many years. He was a member of the West Charlton Presbyterian Church. James is predeceased by two brothers Kenneth Nelson and Raymond Nelson. He is survived by his four sisters Helen Stoddard (Donald) of Rotterdam, Edith Sparks of New York City, Janet De Largey of Houston, TX and Marian Clark of Arizona, also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at a later date. Contributions can be made in James memory to the Animal Protective Foundation 53 Maple Avenue Scotia, NY 12302. Arrangements are by the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady.
