James F Myers

James F. Myers, 55, died on Friday July 3rd at his home with family by his side. Born in Schenectady, James was the son of the late Fredrick and Catherine (Dunnigan) Myers and had attended Mont Pleasant High School. An Army veteran, Jim had worked in bus transportation for over 30 years with CDTA, Laidlaw Transportation, Scotia Transportation and then retiring on disability for Northland Transportation. In Jim's spare time he loved working around the house, on cars and hunting and fishing. He was also an avid NY Yankees and NY Giants fan. Survived by his beloved wife of 10 years, Elizabeth (Schiavone) Myers, he is also survived by his children, Jason, Robert, JJ and Jamie Myers, a step son, Jean-Claude Courter, sisters Barbara Snow and Amy Graham and his brother John Myers, as well as many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday morning, July 11th at 11 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY. There will be no calling hours by request.
