James R Morris

James R. Morris, 74, of Summit, NY passed away at home on Friday March 3, 2017. Born in Scotia, NY he was the son of the late James R. and Ardith Morris. James served his country in the Army as a Military Police Officer. He was employed for the General Electric Company in Schenectady as a Foreman. He is predeceased by one grandchild Ashley Manchester. James is survived by his wife Bonnie Howard Morris whom he married September 27, 1974, one son Wendell Manchester (AnnaMarie) of Yonkers, two sisters Jill Colwell of Vero Beach, Fl., Ardith Schneider of Rhode Island. He is also survived by five grandchildren-Amanda Manchester, Wendell C. Manchester IV, Bernadette Manchester, Brandon Manchester and Skylar Manchester. Funeral Services will be Friday 10:15AM at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady followed by a Mass at 11AM at St. Anthony's Church 331 Seward place Schenectady. Calling Hours will be on Thursday 2-4PM and 7-9PM at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Schenectady Memorial Park in Rotterdam.
