James P Heaney

James P. Heaney 87 of Scotia died Saturday morning December 1st at Community Hospice Inn at St. Peters after a short illness. Born in Coalton, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Thomas and Mary (McGuerty) Heaney. A Navy veteran of World War II, James worked for the General Electric Company for over 40 years before his retirement. Jim was a member of the General Electric 1/4 century club and the Schenectady Elks. James was predeceased by a son James Heaney. He is survived by his wife Nihla M. (Primett) Heaney of Scotia, a son, Shawn T. Heaney and wife Susan of Beaumont, TX, three grandchildren, Shawn Heaney and wife Jennifer ,Joseph Heaney and Timothy Heaney, a great grandchild, Christian and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday morning December 4, 2007 at 11 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm. Interment in Memory's Garden in Colonie, NY
