James D Hamblet

Jim Hamblet (James Douglas), 64, of Scotia, NY sadly left us on April 30, 2022, after a short illness following a four-year courageous comeback after sustaining a spinal cord injury.

Jim was a loving father & a true-hearted friend & is survived by his two daughters Alyssa Rose Hamblet & Juliana Faith Hamblet, a sister, & his three best friends, brothers forever, Rick Bertrand, Ross Brandman, & Jim (JT) Tibbits, & his surrogate family at The Baptist Nursing & Rehab Center.

Jim will be remembered as a connoisseur of fast food & as the former manager of Burger King, for his love of classic movies, engaging in heated political debates, his enthusiasm for tennis, boating & water skiing, as a fast-talking car salesman, & his service in the United States Air Force.

His daughters will be hosting a Celebration of Jim’s Life & his interment will be held at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
