Jadvyga Drobavicius

Jadvyga Drobavicius, 93. died on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at the Baptist Nursing Home, She was born on November 21,1912 in Lithuania and came to the US in 1949. She was predeceased by her husband; Jonas Drobavicius, sister Jane Statkevicius and brother Marijonas Stankevicius. She received her nursing degree in Lithuania and was a highly respected and loved nurse throughout her career in Lithuania and Cleveland, Ohio, where she worked at St, Vincent Charity Hospital and was head pediatric nurse at Fairview Park Hospital. She loved her family, opera, classical music, nature and travel. She is survived by daughters Laima Drobavicius or NYC and Kristina Philip of Schenectady; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Philip-Morris and a great grandson, Ethan Morris, both of N. Ferrisburgh, Vermont. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 11,2006 at 9 AM at St. Helens Church in Schenectady.
