Jack M. Livsey,90, passed away early Sunday morning at the Joan Nicole Prince Home in Scotia, NY. Born in Schenectady, Jack was the son of the late Donald and Mary (Kulkin) Livsey. A graduate of Mont Pleasant High School, Jack attended both Skidmore College and Albany Business College. A Korean War veteran, Jack went to work for the General Electric Company for over 33 years, he retired as Manager of Disbursements at the GE Silicone Plant in Waterford, NY. I lover of all sports from football to Baseball to bowling, Jack especially enjoyed golf, reading and assembling models. A longtime member of the Trinity Reformed Church in Rotterdam, he was also a member of the GE Quarter Century Club. Predeceased last June by his beloved wife of 64 years Mary (Green) Livsey, Jack was also predeceased by his daughter JoAnn (Livsey) Burns in 2001. Jack is survived by his son, Scott M. Livsey of Ballston Spa, his grandchildren, Kaylan M. Zall (Joshua) of New Hampshire and Samuel M. Livsey of Porters Corners and his great grandson, Thompson Zall. A celebration of Jack's life will be held on Thursday morning January 18th at 11 am at the Trinity Reformed Church, 705 Curry Road, Rotterdam, NY 12306. Friends and relatives are invited to attend the services. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady, NY. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Jack's memory to the Joan Nicole Prince Home, 22 Glenview Drive, Scotia, NY 12302.
