Jack Epremian, 97, of Bradley Street Schenectady died Saturday evening December 22, 2007 at Kingsway Arms Nursing Center in Schenectady. Born in Schenectady on August 16, 1910 to Krikor and Rose Epremian. Jack served as a Master Sergeant in the United States Army during World War II. After the war, he and his brother Charles ran the Schenectady Leather Company which had been started by their father. Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, skiing, reading and tennis. He played tennis in Central Park from his early years until he was well past 80 and was well-known among the players. Beside his parents, Jack was predeceased by his brother Charles Epremian and a sister Florence Epremian. Jack is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Avakian of Schenectady and Rose Fetter of Boulder, CO, a brother Edward Epremian and wife Mary of Sunapee, NH, two nieces and two nephews. Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family, with interment in Parkview Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady.
