Irene Sarnowski

Irene Sarnowski 91 passed away Tuesday morning February 16th at Capital Living Nursing and Rehabilitation center in Schenectady. Born in Rotterdam, Irene was the daughter of the late Gabriel and Clara (Aniolek) Regula. A graduate of Draper High School, Irene worked as a secretary for the G.E. Research and Development Center in Niskayuna and later at St Clare's Hospital. She was also a member of the former St Mary's Church in Schenectady. Irene was predeceased in 1975 by her husband of 43 years, Arthur Sarnowski and a sister Anna Chase. She is survived by a nephew, Mark Chase of California and several other relatives. A graveside service will be held Monday February 22, 2016 at 10am at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Rotterdam, NY.
