Ingeborg Z. Stuart

Ingeborg was born in Schenectady, New York on July 20 th , 1931. She went to permanently take her place with God on September 21 st , 2026. She attended Draper High School and met the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Stuart at a church social. Ingeborg “Inge” was a lifelong, devoted member of Trinity Reformed church in Rotterdam NY. She was grounded in her strong faith and found great happiness and joy within the church, participating in many functions such as bible study and the choir. Not only did she devote her life and talents to the church, but she found her lifelong circle of friends and community within Trinity Reformed. She was an avid crafter and quilter. She created many beautiful pieces that she loved to share with her family and give away to those that were in need in her community. Always eager for a game, she loved playing cards and solving puzzles. Inge went by Bana to some of her grandkids and great grandkids and Nani to others. She loved and adored each of her grandchildren, always appreciative of each one’s special gifts. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Bob and her brother Kurt Zimmerman. She is survived by her children, Eric (Terry) and Jackie (Roy), grandchildren - Cory, Lindsay, Alex, and Abby, and 8 great-grandchildren - Owen, Stuart, Elliott, Conrad, JT, Jack, Louise, and Logan. The family would like to give special thanks to her New York, Florida, and New Orleans friends and family. She was loved by all. A private family service and burial will take place at a later date.
