Ilse Rijssen

Ilse Marleen Darfour-Rijssen passed away on October 9, 2020 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Suriname, she was the daughter of late Leo Dalfour and Cornelia Jameson. She was a home health aide at Living Resources which she enjoyed to the full. Ilse was compassionate about helping the sick and elderly. She was a devoted servant of Jehovah for many decades. She is survived by her loving husband Robert Rijssen, her daughters Maureen Martinez (son in law Jorge Martinez), Carmelita Diaz, Jolanda Rijssen, Melissa Rijssen-De La Huerta (son in law Nathan De La Huerta), Farisa Amelo (son in law Guilliano Amelo), as well as her grandchildren Tony Diaz, Ashley Rijssen, Amara Diaz, Hailey Martinez, Benny Amelo and Regillio Amelo.

The viewing will be held Saturday October 17, 2020 from 9AM - 11AM at: Bond Funeral Home,1614 Guilderland Ave.,Schenectady, NY 12306

The memorial talk will be held after the visitation at 11AM. Face masks will be required and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
