Howard R Feuz

Howard Feuz, 80, of Rotterdam passed away peacefully on June 6, 2008 at Northwoods Rehabilitation Center in Niskayuna after a brief illness. Born on September 22, 1927 in Schenectady he was the son of the late Rudolph and Bertha (Abbuhl) Feuz of Rotterdam, Howard was educated at Draper High School and after High School joined the NYS Department of Transportation where he worked for 38 years as Road Foreman, retiring in 1985. Howard was a part time farmer and could always be seen outside working the farm or in his garden. He was an active and devoted member of the Cobblestone Church in Rotterdam. Howard served the church as an elder and Deacon. Besides his parents, Howard was predeceased by his sisters Doris Harper and Helen Monty. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Marjorie A. Baker Feuz, two sons Mark Feuz of Rotterdam and Kurt Feuz ( Mary) of Scotia, one brother Arthur Feuz of Rotterdam, also survived by two grandchildren Alexander and Grace Feuz as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services will be Sunday 3PM at the Cobblestone Church 118 Putnam Road Rotterdam. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be Sunday 1-3PM at the Church. Internment will be in Viewland Cemetery in Rotterdam. Contributions can be made in Howard's memory to the Cobblestone Church 118 Putnam Road Schenectady, NY 12306 to the American Diabetes Foundation 7 Washington Square Albany, NY 12205.
