Howard D Cridelle

Howard D. Cridelle 84 of Schenectady died Monday October 17, 2005 at home after a short illness, Born in Eastman, GA, Howard was the son of the late Eugene and Fannie Cridelle. Howard attended Nott Terrace High School where he held several of the schools indoor track records. He was a sergeant in the Army during WW2 serving in North Africa, Italy and the Philippines. Howard worked as a machine operator at the General Electric Co. for over 20 years. He was a member of the YMCA, the Weaver Aces and served with the Civilian Conservation Corps where he helped plant over 10,000 trees. Howard was predeceased in 1994 by his wife of 50 years Margaret (Cole) Cridelle. Survivors include her five children; Ronnie M. Cridelle of Tucson ,AZ, Deborah A. Carcuro (Mike) of Schenectady, Rita J. Hogle of Glenville, Barbara N. Cooke (Robert) of Schenectady and George B. Cridelle of Schenectady, a nephew Tony Delgado(Jonnie) of Schenectady and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Thursday afternoon October 20, 2005 at 1 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. A calling hour will be held from 12 to 1 pm prior to the funeral service. Interment in Vale Cemetery, Schenectady, NY
