Henry Desantis

Henry L. DeSantis 56 of Rotterdam Junction, NY died Tuesday morning May 16, 2006 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Schenectady, Henry was the son of the late Attilio and Bessie (Wheel) DeSantis and was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School. A life long construction worker, Henry was a former partner of Hodorowski DeSantis Builders and had worked as a superintendent for Masullo Brothers Construction for over ten years. A former Pop Warner and Little League Coach, he enjoyed camping and fishing trips with his family. Henry was a member of Grace fellowship Church in Latham and was passionate about the Lord and the Bible and loved sharing his faith with others. Henry is survived by his wife of 32 years Marie L. (Masullo) DeSantis who he married October 6, 1973, five children, Sarah Amedore and husband Armand of Rotterdam, Christopher H. DeSantis, Henry DeSantis Jr., Danielle DeSantis and Rebecca DeSantis all of Rotterdam Junction, two grandchildren, Gabrielle and Nicholas Amedore, two brothers, Kenneth DeSantis (Dawn) and Richard DeSantis (Judith) both of Rotterdam and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday morning May 19, 2006 at 10 am at Grace Fellowship, 20 Delatour Road, Latham, NY. Calling hours will be held at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady on Thursday evening May 18, 2006 from 5 to 8 pm.
