Helga Wegner

Helga Wegner passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the age of 93.

Born on February 15, 1933, in Pirmasens, Germany, she was the daughter of Heinrich and Henriette Demberger.

Helga was raised and educated in Germany and after completing a dressmaker/seamstress apprenticeship, she worked in the fashion industry.

Helga came to America after marrying her husband Theo Wegner in 1956. Together they built a beautiful life filled with much joy and laughter.

Helga was a gracious hostess, and she loved to entertain family and friends. Get-togethers and parties were commonplace at the Wegner residence. She enjoyed baking and cooking and had an eye for setting the perfect table. She wanted her guests to feel comfortable and welcome and they always did.

Helga was predeceased by her beloved husband Theo, her parents, siblings Kurt (Gerlinde) Demberger, Klaus (Traudel) Demberger and her nephew Ulf Demberger.

She is survived by her daughter Kristine Bohn, son-in-law Terrence Bohn, granddaughter Caroline Bohn and nephew Axel Demberger. Other cherished relatives include Doris Demberger, Sigrid Demberger, Sandra Cross and Nick Demberger.

Services for Helga will be private.
