Helen Alice Rowley

Helen Alice Batters, born in Albany on October 6, 1950, died April 26th at her home in Schenectady following an extended battle with cancer and Alzheimer's

She is survived by her husband, Rick, their daughter Rachel, sister Mary Jo Batters and brothers Tom Batters and Bob Batters. She was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Beth.

Helen was a longtime finance employee with the City of Schenectady, Schenectady Public Library, and also of the (lower) Mohawk Club and Pediatrics Associates.

She was devoted to her family and friends, and was a lover of books, music, and animals.

A memorial celebration will be held at Bond Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 14th at noon.
