Helen D Liddle

Helen D. Liddle, 100, of Auburn, NY formerly of Princetown passed away on Saturday February 18, 2017 at the Auburn Rehabilitation and Nursing Home. Born in Princetown she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Elizabeth D. (Quick) Liddle. She was a graduate of Draper High School. Helen received her teaching degrees from Oneonta Teaching College, Albany State and Columbia Teaching College. Helen taught in schools in her hometown of Schenectady County and later in the Greater Auburn School District. She retired in 1972. She was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church (USA). Helen first worked with the youth in her home church. The First Presbyterian Church of Princetown. Later in Auburn, she joined Westminster Presbyterian Church where she became an elder and also served as a deacon. There she taught church school and was in involved with the youth. Helen is predeceased by her sister Evelyn Elizabeth Coone. A graveside service will be held at 1PM on June 7, 2017 at Viewland Cemetery Princetown Road in Rotterdam, NY. Arrangements are by the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady.
